An informative course looking at various topics regarding money in Islam. Learning how to make responsible halal choices in the modern world. An amazing opportunity to discuss financial issues with a qualified teacher. We will be unpacking a range of financial issues which link to Islam and to empower them to make the right decisions in their futures, particularly looking at charity and linking to the upcoming month of Ramadan.

Aim of the course: 

  • To build an understanding regarding fiqh issues with money
  • To focus on Zakaat and Charity and its importance
  • To look at halal and haram incomes
  • To empower students with the correct islamic understanding to enable them to make the correct decisions regarding money and finances

Teaching style: All sessions are interactive and are filled with student-led activities. Online learning tools such as Quizlet and Kahoot will be used to engage students. Students will have access to resources through our Google Classroom.

Assessment: Students will be assessed through online quizzes and submission of home learning tasks.
