Who are we?
Teens Inspired provides interactive Islamic courses, trips, workshops and activities for teenage girls. Our aim is to Educate, Empower and Engage young teenage girls and boys.
Educate – We educate teenage girls by hosting Islamic and personal growth workshops.
Empower – We empower the youth with the skills they need to make the correct decisions in life and to tackle the many challenges they face in today’s world.
Enagage – We engage with our students through our interactive, fun and student-led activities.
What do we do?
1. Deliver Islamic and Personal growth workshops
Our one day workshops cover topics which young Muslims may find challenging or difficult. We create a safe space for discussions and questions. All workshops are led by qualified Alimahs and experienced Instructors.
Some of our workshops include:
– A Muslim girl’s guide to Puberty
– A Muslim girl’s guide to Menstruation
– A Muslim girl’s guide to Sex Education
– Modesty
– Ramadan preparation
2. Short Islamic courses
We run short 6-week Islamic courses covering a range of topics such as connection with Allah through Salah, Studying the themes in the Quran, Women in Islam, Seerah and more. Please see the courses tab to see our available courses.
3. Our Publications
We have created two booklets which cover the controversial issues in our current society. We give these out to our workshop attendees.
4. We host fun creative workshops and trips
Throughout the school holidays, we host a range of activities to keep teens busy and to develop their skills and hobbies. We also go on trips and outings outdoors.
Some of the creative workshops we have hosted are:
- Canvas painting
– Bracelet making
– Creative writing
– Fitness session
Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown we have still been able to Educate, Empower and Engage the youth through our online platforms. We have been reaching to them with daily reflections, reminders, challenges and competitions through our social media platforms! We have also been running short courses and hosting events online.
